Community
In our 14 years in business Autowater has received strong support from the people and communities we operate in and we at Autowater feel that it is our responsibility to give back to those communities whenever possible. Whether it's helping to provide a comforting environment to grieving children, a lush, green lawn to an injured service member or a beautiful landscape to a church with strong ties to the community, the Autowater family will always be here to step in and help.
The Childrens Room
In May of 2009 Autowater Irrigation donated a complete irrigation system to The Children's room in Arlington, Ma. The Children's Room is a non-profit center in Arlington who's goal is to help grieving children, teens, and families in our communities to go on living and loving fully. They offer children, teens and their families an opportunity to find connection and community after the death of an immediate family member.
Homes for Our Troops
Autowater has proudly partnered with the National non-profit Homes for Our Troops on two occasions to date to provide high quality irrigation systems to severely injured US service men and they families at no cost.

Homes for Our Troops, a national non-profit, non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2004. It is strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to our country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries since September 11, 2001. It is their duty and honor to assist severely injured Servicemen and Servicewomen and their immediate families by raising donations of money, building materials and professional labor and to coordinate the process of building a home that provides maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently.

The homes provided by Homes for Our Troops are given at NO COST to the Veterans we serve.

In April 2008 Autowater donated a complete irriagtion system to the Sergeant Brian Fountaine Mission. While serving with the First Brigade Combat Team of the Fourth Infantry Division on June 8, of this year, Sergeant Brian Fountaine, a 24-year-old tank commander from Dorchester came under attack which resulted in the loss of both his lower legs. This was Brian's second tour of duty, one that he volunteered for.

In July of 2010 Autowater was proud to partner with Homes for Our Troops for a second time to donate a complete irrigation system to the Sergeant Michael Downing Mission. Army SSG Michael Downing was on his second deployment when he was left a double amputee after an IED explosion in Afghanistan in September 2008. The force of the blast blew SSG Downing from the truck he was in, throwing him into enemy territory, unprotected. Quick action by patrol leaders secured the area, all the while exchanging small arms fire as the medics worked to aid the wounded.
